for paneer tikka filling -
1 cup paneer cubes
1/4 cup thick hung curd
1tsp turmeric pwd
1 tsp red chilli pwd
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1chopped green chillies
1 finely chopped onion
2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
2 tsp oil
salt to taste
for home made wraps/burritos/tortillas -
1 cup maida/plain flour
1 tbsp curd
salt to taste
1tsp oil
1tsp sugar
water
assembling the burritos :
home made wraps/tortillas or store bought tortillas
paneer tikka filling
shredded lettuce
shredded cabbage
shredded carrot
sliced onions
red chilli sauce
tamarind chutney
shredded mozerrella cheese ( optional )
chaat masala to taste
method :
Mix all the ingredients for the covering using enough water and prepare a dough.Cover it with a damp cloth and keep aside for 1-2 hrs.Marinate paneer cubes in curd,add all the masalas,ginger garlic paste and mix well.Keep this mixture in freeze for 1-2 hrs.Heat oil,add green chillies,onions and capsicum,stir fry for 5 mins and then add marinated paneer,fry for 2-3 mins and keep aside.Roll out the maida dough just like chapati/tortilla (do not apply ghee or oil on it ...just plain ones ) and keep it aside.take 1 tortilla,spread chilli sauce,tamarind chutney,spread the paneer tikka filling in centre of it,on top add onions ,shredded lettuce,shredded cabbage,grated carrots ( or any of your fav salad )and sprinkle chaat masala/cheese and fold up one side towards the centre and then fold in the sides to meet at the centre .Fry this roll on tawa with ltl oil or if adding cheese then heat in a preheated oven till cheese melts.serve hot .
